This excursion gives you the unique opportunity to see the Orthodox Gonia Monastery one of the most impressive fortified monasteries of Crete build in 13th century, Gonia Monastery played key role in Cretan history as it resistance to many conquerors. Later on our voyage will take us further to the oldest olive tree in the whole world estimated to be over 3.000 years old and still produces olives today. Our last stop will be the Botanical Park an ideal destination escaping from the hustle and bustle of the city. Nearly 20 hectares of land are waiting to welcome you, full of fruit trees, herbs, medicinal and ornamental plants from all over the world.
