Description
The majestic beach of Falassarna is 59 km west of Chania and 17 km west of Kissamos. At the northern end of the beach there are ruins of the Greco-Roman city of Falasarna. Falassarna is one of the most famous beaches of Greece, as it has been awarded in the past as one of the best beaches of Crete and one of the 10 best beaches in Europe. It extends to a very large area and consists essentially of 5 consecutive beaches of 3 km, with the two most central being the most loved ones.
